Making God Famous
What We Believe
Scriptures

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. All Scripture is totally true and trustworthy.

God

There is one and only one living and true God. He is an intelligent, spiritual and personal Being, the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures.
God the Father

God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His Grace.
God the Son

Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. As 100 % human and 100% divine he lived his life in perfect harmony with His heavenly Father’s will and consequently without personal sin, He died on the cross for the sins of the world. He was raised from the dead with a glorified body and appeared to His disciples as the person who was with them before His crucifixion. He ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God. He will return in power and glory to judge the world and consummate His redemptive mission. He now dwells in all believers as the living and ever present Lord.
God the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He inspired holy men of old to write the Scriptures. He enables men to understand truth. He exalts Christ. He convicts men of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He calls men to the Savior, and effects regeneration. At the moment of regeneration He baptizes every believer into the Body of Christ. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism and service.
Man
Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. By man’s free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race.

Salvation
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer.

Church
The New Testament church is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel.

Baptism & The Lord's Supper
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
Our Faith
Our Faith is in Jesus. He is the author and perfector of our Faith. When we place our trust and faith in Him, we can know and believe that we have eternal life in Him.

It is by grace through that faith that we are saved.
Our Mission
Our Mission as a Student Ministry is to ensure that each student has equal oppurtunity to become a fully devoted follower of Christ by the time they enter college.
Our Values
We value relationships.

Between us and God and between each other.
Our Vision
We desire to be real people who love God, love people, and make God famous.
Quote of the Day
"I have but one candle of life to burn, and I would rather burn it out in a land filled with darkness than in a land flooded with light"
John Keith Falconer
Verse of the Day
Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O LORD, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You.
